Haven't painted in a while so I'm warming up my brushes. Not finished but it's a start.

Rider on Horse

This is a drawing I did for my one and only. It was done with graphite pencil on 11"x 14" Bristle Paper. I attempted cross hatching.. Turned out pretty well I think. I used a grid method to aid my drawing because the original photo was smaller. The most important thing I was focusing on was it read rider on a horse.....lol. Enjoy.

Still On My Easel

Still on my easel, I have worked on it slowly. I made some changes to the size of the image as I didn't make it the image big enough for the canvas. :( Lesson learned.

On my Easel

Currently on my easel. A work in progress. 8X10 Canvas Panel in Oil.  I have changed the color of the horse several times. I'm looking for that rich reddish brown color to make his coat SING.
Color mixing is hard work.  :)
